Epcot
We are staying at the Disney All Star Sports Resort. Free piece of Disney advice - no matter your budget, Disney has a resort on their property in your budget - stay at it. The time you save and not having to deal with the traffic and the parking makes it a smart decision.
Today was spent at Epcot.
By the way, we need to say thank you to Jack's cousin - Rachel Gibbs - for making this trip a reality. Rachel did an internship at Disney. She was very gracious to share a number of her limited guest privileges with us - for Jack and we really appreciate her for that. Thanks Rachel!!!!!
Another Disney tip - get a stroller. Mom scored big with this idea as demonstrated in the above photo.
Jack's first ride was Test Track - he loves race cars and wanted to go - "faster, faster" - let me say - he did. This was a great ride.
We then went to the Mexico and China pavillions. I was excited to have Jack see a bit about China. We had lunch in the China area, of course.
We then went to ride Soarin - a fantastic ride worth the price of admission. I wish we had done this ride a few more times. Jack went to see a 3-D movie. Let's just say Jack is not a big fan of 3-D movies.
Next, we went to the French pavillion - I was not excited about this, I was mainly afraid France might surrender while I was there and that could somehow be a problem. Jack saw the Beauty and the Beast here.
Then we went to the United Kingdom pavilion - I felt much better about life at this point. Here Jack got a taste of culture and he and his Mom got to see Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends.
Our last stops were the Morocco and Japan pavillions. We spent a lot of time in Japan.
We were going to stay for the fireworks - but we learned a lesson - Jack was tired - so it was back to the resort for a good nights sleep.
